call parking lot didn't work with error ID 504 (source ID 239) RRS feed

  • Hi all,

    I have tested scenerio make call from lync client A to lync client B and put the call in parking lot. But this fearture didn't work

    and show the error: "cannot park call right now. Please try again later."

    " When contacting your support team, reference error ID 504 (source ID 239)..."

    I have configurated call park and enable this fearture with this information:

    PS C:\Users\administrator.LYNCLAB> Get-CsCallParkOrbit

    Identity           : callpark
    NumberRangeStart   : #900
    NumberRangeEnd     : #950
    CallParkServiceId  : ApplicationServer:LYNCSTD.lynclab.local
    CallParkServerFqdn : LYNCSTD.lynclab.local

    any one has been seen this error before that, please share your experience.

  • Please check you have enable Call Park for users in voice policy in Lync Server Control Panel.

    Try to increases the call park orbit number range to exclude the possibility of insufficient orbit number.

    If the problem persists, you can use parkometer.exe utility from the Lync Server 2010 Resource Kit tools to troubleshoot this issue.

    Thank you for your help.

    But the issue was still existing. I've increased the callpark orbit number:

    Identity           : callpark
    NumberRangeStart   : #10001
    NumberRangeEnd     : #20000
    CallParkServiceId  : ApplicationServer:TMALYNCSTD.lynctmalab.local
    CallParkServerFqdn : TMALYNCSTD.lynctmalab.local

    however, When I install parkometer.exe and run command:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Lync Server 2010\ResKit>Parkometer.exe -o
                    Orbit Ranges in DB


    It didn't show the Orbit Ranges in DB.

    I have read user guide Parkometer. It only show command for audit call park.

    I have also enable Call Park for users in voice policy in Lync Server Control Panel.

    Do we need more configurations? I just try to use callpark feature between lync lient and lync client. but When I park the call, this error appeared.

  • I am in the exact same situation.  It seems like the creation of the orbit does not populate the DB.  My next step is to re-publish the Topology during maintenance, but I am not sure this will do it either...

    It worked for me.
