Windows Taskbar Shadow Like bar RRS feed

  • I found a bug in windows taskbar when it is on top, there is a shadow like bar and when an application maximized it goes under that shadowy bar; and it's transparent the title bar of maximized window.

  • A couple of things you can try -

    Right click on the task bar and select 'properties'. On the menu that opens look to see what task bar appearance options are selected. One of them is 'Keep the task bar on top of other windows'. Make sure that that option is not selected (no checkmark beside it). This should allow other windows to normally be open on top of the task bar.

    The other thing you can do is select 'auto-hide the task bar'. This allows the task bar to drop down below the screen and it will only pop up if you drag the mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen.

  • This problem also occurs when you have the task bar on the left side, but you can fix the problem if you put the task bar on the rigth side there is no problem there o also you can try to put the bar at the bottom.
