SPF Records - include vs redirect RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

For SPF records, what's the difference between include and redirect? I tried looking them up but there isn't a whole lot of information out there.

    Thanks

  • hi,

    In my mind.

Include is you can include other spf record in to your spf record for query.  You can have many spf records in your spf record.

Redirect is redirect the spf record query to another spf record. It means that you not really have spf record. All query request will be redirected.

    hope can help you

    thanks,

Does that mean you will never see 'redirect' and 'include' in the same spf record?

Have you tried this SPF wizard? It's been around longer and seems more complete to me.
