PWA 2010 - Approval Center - Unknown Error Has Occurred

I have a User who is getting "Unknown Error Has Occurred" when she tries to access PWA 2010 Approval Center. This error is received after 2-3 minutes of having a message stating "Loading".

I believe this issue is caused by the large number of approvals she has, 1,622. Any ideas on how to resolve?

Hi,

I do not think the error is related to the number of approvals. I would suggest checking for any corrupt assignments:

and even look for assignments against any milestones

there are two possible reasons,

1. Due to the number of assignments (1,622)

2. Some bad assignment

Are you able to access the Ribbon?

Can you try to set the date range and the filters to reduce the load?

Another workaround:

Set a Rule to approve the updates automatically, later check the status.
