Lightweight Gateway ATA service not starting RRS feed

    Hi,

    I've installed ATA 1.8 and the lightweight gateway on a 2012 R2 domain controller. 

    On the domain controller, the ATA Insights service is running but the main ATA service is stuck in a starting loop.

    Are there any logs to find out the reason? I've rebuilt the performance counter database as suggested in another thread, but to no avail. Nothing of use in the event logs.

    What do you mean by the "ATA Inisghts service"? not familiar with that one.

    Maybe you meant the GW?

    A good starting point would be to look in the logs as described here:

    If you see any errors, upload here and we will try to help.

    Hello Gurdip,

    You can find the log files at location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Advanced Threat Analytics\Gateway\Logs.

    In addition, you can troubleshooting the errors found in the log with the help of the following article below.

    If it still doesn't help, you can share the errors here.
