Recipient thread limit exceeded exchange 2010 sp3 RRS feed

  • Hi All

    I have a problem in mail delivery  its a delay cause of error Recipient thread limit exceeded in the queue ,i don't have journal mailbox in my environment but i have a heavy load mails for some mailboxes.

    i tried to add the below key in EdgeTransport.Exe.Config

    <add key=”RecipientThreadLimit” value=”2″ />

    <add key=”MaxMailboxDeliveryPerMdbConnections” value=”3″ />

    but the transport service hanging in restart (No Success) get this error

    Transport service is disconnecting performance counters with process lifetime from their old process. Eventid 12025 

    I have searched a lot about this issue but there is no clear answer for that

    Welcome to our forum.

    Did this issue occur for inbound/outbound mail flow or just internal mail flow?

    Please change the value in EdgeTransport.Exe.Config as the following value, then restart transport service to check if the issue persist:

    <add key=”RecipientThreadLimit” value=”3″ />

    <add key=”MaxMailboxDeliveryPerMdbConnections” value=”4″ />

    thank you. the issue is solved after deleting the Extra Space in the last word ( ”3″ /> ) to be (”3″/>)
