Managing Windows Updates R2 CU2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are looking to manage updates via SCCM but is there a way to make them available through the standard Windows Updates section rather than software center?  In my testing they only appear in software center and when searching for updates in windows, none are available.  Thanks in advance!

  • Thanks!  Is there any way, through SCCM, to change updating on my clients from being managed by sccm back to being managed by local GP or does that have to be done via GPO?  Thanks again

  • You can use a GPO to point the WUA client to an existing WSUS Server (which must be a standalone WSUS, so no SUP!) to manage them.
