Cannot get Synchronize Out of Office Events to work! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I'm trying to start task synchronization between PWA 2013 & Exchange 2013 CU10 but there are a lot of problems here.

I've configured those products using this guide: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn155802(v=office.15).aspx .

Unfortunately it does not works. it syncs tasks to mysite but it they are not appearing in my Outlook Web Apps tasks.

    SharePoint ULS says :

    - No subscriptions opted into Exchange Sync found, so skipping update

    Regards

  • Finally...

after reading this document I understood that "Out of Office Events" is a feature to sync calendars and in fact it's main function is to get working hours from OWA. but I needed to sync tasks to exchange so this was another subject and again after reading this document I understood that you need to Optin. so apparently it means that you should have mysites deployed and have a site and then in your mysite goto tasks and click on SyncToOutlook button.

here's how you can sync PWA or SharePoint tasks to your exchange account.

I wish luck for anybody who tries to get these products to work.
