Email Alerts and Lotus Notes Mail Client RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are working with a customer who uses Lotus Notes with a Domino mailserver.

Using Internet Explorer and Outlook we are able to receive email alerts for Tasks and also Project Server Workflow Tasks and the URL to the Tasks list works.

People using the Lotus Notes email client receive the email alerts but the URL to the Tasks list does not work, it shows blank spaces in the URL whereas in Outlook the URL shows %20 for each blank space.

I am assuming this is a Lotus Notes "Feature" - the functionality works fine with Microsoft Products.

Has anyone else encountered this and if so do they know of a fix?

  • Correct, this is a Lotus notes encoding feature that might be fixed in this update:
