  • Hi Visualcoat,

That means somthing is wrong with the protected computer typically the agent. Check the Monitoring tab and the Agents tab under the Manangement tab in the DPM admin console for errors.

  • Do you have any valid datas for these computers ?

Did you reach the retention range?

  • Hi Visualcoat1,

From the protected client computer pull up the DPM client and see if it can sync with DPM this will tell us if it is communicating with the DPM server.

Try the following steps in the DPM management shell to see if you have valid data for your workstation

    1/ $pg=get-protectiongroup -dpmserver <DPMServer>

<DPM> = short name of your DPMServer

    2/ $pg

This command will list the ProtectionGroups on your DPM Server. First one on the list will be index=0

    3/ $ds=get-datasource  $pg[<i>]

<i> = The index of the protection group you want to check.

    4/ $rp=get-recoverypoint -datasource $ds

    5/ $rp

Check if there are any datas for your computer.

  • Once the client started backing up correctly, the client name stopped disappearing.

Thanks again for all the help :)
