User Feedback on Restricted Formatting in Word 2013 RRS feed

    My team and I are currently researching the benefits of locked or restricted formatting in Word 2013 to see if this will save us time when it comes to the creation, review and formatting of proposals.  However, problems did occur with outside formatting being allowed in the document even when formatting has been restricted. We also noticed that certain issues occurred for some users but not for others in the same document.

    For instance, one reviewer copied and pasted text from a source document into a new template that had formatting restrictions. For whatever reason, the Normal style converted to a numbered list throughout the restricted document.  Another thing of note is that bold text will not transfer from a source document into the document with formatting restrictions even though the bold style is allowed.

    Has anyone else attempted to use restricted formatting during a proposal process with success?  Have any other users had issues with restricted formatting not working properly?
