XP Desktop Wallpaper Offcenter RRS feed

  • Question

  • After a Microsoft update, most likely IE 8, the Desktop Wallpapers are way too large and off the screen.  When the desktop first starts up, it appears normal, turns blank, and then changes to the current extra large, off-the-screen picture.  I recently used a photo from my Kodak folder, chose to "center" it, and it is off-center.  There is a black margin on the left side of the screen.
I saw an explanation on how to fix this problem with Vista, but the list in the registry is different in XP.
Please tell me how to adjust the desktop wallpaper to fit the screen.  Everything else is normal.
    Help is much appreciated!
