  • You're using user profile service to sync the accounts?

Are you able to search the account?

Application Management > Manage service applications > Your user profile service > Manage User Profiles (Under People)

  • Hi Renjit,

It seems that the problematic users are not synced into SharePoint Online.

    Please re-sync it again.

And also delete the problematic users from the SharePoint site and re-add them again to SharePoint site, compare the result.

In addition, as this issue is about Office 365 SharePoint Online, I suggest you create a new thread on Office 365 forum.
