DPM install as Azure VM and how to backup Azure VMs RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I want install DPM 2012 R2 as a Azure Virtual machine and need to take the backup of Azure virtual machine through DPM Azure Virtual machine. Please help me to provide the best practice on configuration of Storage and backup vault

  • Hi,

    There is no difference between installing DPM using on-prem machine or Iaas VM.  The storage limits in the DPM storage pool will be dictated by the size and type on VM used as per the link in the above article.
