This will work!!!
Open Explorer and goto ---->
C:\Windows\System32\
Then find the cmd.exe
right click on it and run as Administrator
Once opened type in the window this command
sfc /scannow
The system will scan for errors once done:
Then find the shortcut icon for WMP right click on it and run as Administrator. This worked for me!!!
