My windows vista DVD maker won't accept my video files after the PC was reformated back to Factory Origin RRS feed

  • Question

  • I Reformat my Windows Vista PC back to HP Factory Origin, then my Windows DVD Maker refuse to accept all my previous movie files. Every time I add files to burn i will get this massage ' 0 FILES WERE SUCCESFULLY ADDED.1 FILE COULD NOT BE ADDED. THEN IT WILL GIVE ME THE FILE NAME. SAYING THE FILE COULD BE INVALID OR CORRUPTED.

But the file is not corrupted or not valid,it plays on the computer but I can't burn it with DVD Maker,it applies to all video/photo files, even to the ones I've burned before I reformat the PC.

Please help,HP told me they don't have access to microsoft DVD Maker.

Could you please provide the detailed file name for our further research? What’s the format of the file?

If it is the . MSWMM file, please see if the information in the following link helps:

Why wont my windows dvd maker let me add my movie file?
