Windows 2008 R2 Gateway-to-Client Tunnel problem RRS feed

    I am creating a tunnel from Windows 7 client computer to Windows 2008 R2 server computer.  I followed http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee349273(WS.10).aspx

    The Security Associations are normal and in IP Security Monitor the tunnel is active.  However the network traffic does not reach my server local ip 192.168.168.1.

    In Microsoft Network Monitor I see an ICMP:Echo Request Message to 192.168.168.1 comming into my internet adapter.  If I use then network monitor the adapter with the ip address 192.168.168.1 nothing appears.

    In IP Security Monitor I see counters "Bytes Received In Tunnels" increasing but "Bytes Sent In Tunnels" is zero.

    Any suggestions on how to solve this problem ?
