Safe sender list in Exchange RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to populate safe sender list (including all internal domains, clients, dealers) on all outlook clients so that mails from such origin should not classified as Junk and should fall under Outlook's Junk folder.

Is there any settings to add safe senders list in Exchange 2007?

    Server: Exchange 2007 SP2 on Windows 2008 SP2

    Clients: Outlook 2003 & 2007

  • Hi,

For dploying setting from group policy to Outlook clients:

Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 provides features that can help users avoid receiving and reading junk e-mail messages, including the Junk E-mail Filter and the disabling of automatic content download from external servers.

To add domains in safe list as AntiSpam feature on Exchange server

In Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, the term safelist aggregation refers to a set of anti-spam functionality that is shared across Microsoft Office Outlook and Exchange. This functionality collects data from the anti-spam Safe Recipients Lists or Safe Senders Lists and contact data that Outlook users configure and makes this data available to the anti-spam agents on the computer that has the Edge Transport server role installed. Safelist aggregation can help reduce the instances of false-positives in anti-spam filtering that is performed by the Edge Transport server.

  • Hi,

You can use group policy to add safe sender list. For more information, you can refer to the article ‘How to deploy junk email settings, such as the Safe Senders list, by using Group Policy’.

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks
