Project Server 2010 SQL Report on Resource PLan Data RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    We have a PS 2010 setup, and our organization is planning to use PS 2010 Resource Plan feature for Resource Management for calculating demand and capacity.

    So in order to use this feature, I would like to create a SSRS report which will fetch data from Project's Resource plan.

    So can anybody help to identify the required tables and view to get data in report for mutiple projects similar to Resource Plan pafe of Project Server.

    Thanks !!!

  • The following query, is not optimized, and there could be a better way to write this, but should give you a good starting point.

    select
    ResourceName,
    ProjectName,
    Timebyday,
    b.AssignmentResourcePlanWork
    from
    dbo.MSP_EpmProject_UserView a
    inner join
    MSP_EpmAssignmentByDay_UserView  b on
    a.ProjectUID=b.ProjectUID
    inner join
    MSP_EpmAssignment d
    on b.AssignmentUID=d.AssignmentUID
    inner join
    MSP_EpmResource_UserView c
    on
    c.resourceuid=d.resourceuid

    and BTW, you can also used the "Assignment TimePhased" cube to build this report without SSRS.
