Who does what when report - date range not effective RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi folks

I'm having some issues running the Who does what when report in Project 2010.  I go into the report, select edit and on the filter drop down list I select Date range.  When I run the report it prompts me to select the range I am interested in viewing.  However when it goes to print preview it includes the entire project not the dates selected.

Interestingly it also only gives me information from todays date when I asked that it show tasks that should have started/finished from 6th June.  I know I have tasks in progress that started on this date and are not yet completed.

Any clues on what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Jo

  • Just as a feedback for thread readers; I've received the mpp file from joday48. Applying Daterange filter in combination with a timescale range specified during printing to pdf provides the solution.

    Regards.

  • Hi

Just to let you know I have just sent the file to the above email address. (projectuser@fastmail.fm)

Can you please ensure confidentiality?  Thanks!

If you go into reports, assignments, who does what when and then edit, you can see I have the filter date range applied.  When executing the report when prompted with: Show resources/assignments that start or finish after: I enter project start date of 06/06/12.  Then when prompted with: And before: I enter say the 20/08/12.

I just get data for the entire project, not the specified date range.

    Appreciate your help thanks!

  • Hi

It appears that I am running the correct version.

Any ideas why the date range filter is not applied?

    Thanks for your help
