  • Hello!

Is this a new installation or has this problem started recently? Have you made sure that the DNS is resolving properly?

Can you connect by using the IP address?

    Best regards,
    Leon

  • Check the port number for your WSUS server in its configuration matches what is in your computer's registry in this key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate

    For both WUServer & WUStatusServer

  • Hello,

    Glad to help.

Is your WSUS server remote or local?

If remote, which account do you use to log in? Local or Domain?

If local, try to switch to domain account and check if it works. I can connect to remote WSUS server correctly with domain admin account in my own lab, but with local account, I would have the same issue as yours.

Hope my answer could help you and look forward to your feedback.

    Best Regards,
