Convertto-SPProjectDatabase - what to do with 2010 DB's once converted? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am still in the testing phase of migrating Project Server 2010 to 2013. I have converted to the Archive, Draft, Published and Reporting into one DB.

What do I do with these databases once the conversion is deemed "successful".  They are still sitting in SQL - do they need to remain or can I delete them?

  • Hi,

You can delete them as the data is transferred to the new database.

    Hope this helps

  • Okay easy.  I couldn't see anywhere in the articles where it mentioned doing this.  Just wanted to be sure.

    Thanks Paul
