Missing Data Sources from Get Data in Power Query RRS feed

  • Question

  • I just purchased a new laptop and have a Office 365 Business Premium license.  I installed Office and then went into Excel to Get Data.  I'm missing options for database types in Get Data and need help to get them back.  Under database I only see:

    SQL

    Access

    Analysis Services

    SQL Server Analysis Services

In the install with the same account and license on the other computers I have I see those but also:

    PostgreSQL

    MySQL

    Oracle

    Sybase

    Teradata

    SAP HANA

How do I get the other options on the new computer?  Thanks for your help.

    Please help.

Answers

  • Nevermind.  I had an E3 license when I installed the other computers.  I downgraded the license to Business Premium when Microsoft started including PowerPivot in all versions of Excel.  I didn't realize that I would lose some of the Power Query functionality.  I upgraded and updated Excel and it corrected the issue.
