Need to Disable Office Store In Outlook RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are using exchange online with the Outlook 2016 client on Windows.  We want to disable end users from being able to download items/add ins from the Office Store in Outlook.   Is there a way to disable this feature in powershell or GPO.  Thanks for your help.

  • Hi,

The "Hide the Office Store button" GPO only hides the Office Store button from Outlook Desktop client. You may also have a look at the following article which provided ways to disable Office Store from other source:

  • Hi,

From Outlook client side, we can hide the Office Store button via GPO. You can find the GPO setting under Administrative Templates > Microsoft Outlook 2016 > Outlook Options > Other. Enable the policy "Hide the Office Store button".

    Hope this helps.
