  • Question

  • Hello!
I have a question about attribute precedence.
I have a Manager attribute in HR system which need to be authoritative source for MIM.
So, I have a such precedence:

When I try to run export from MIM to AD I get such message:

Can somebody explain what is wrong?

    Thanks!

  • In a nutshell, this is because you're looping the manager attribute back in from AD. Do you have a need to import this from AD? If not, simply removing the attribute flow will solve your problem.

    Thanks,
    Brian

  • I'm using this flow to import "current" managers information, because some "system" accounts have manager information filled in.<o:p></o:p>

So, I decided to import this information, because MIM in my setup don't operate with such accounts.<o:p></o:p>

  • Problem resolved.

User's manager was out of MIM scope.

  • Great!

So you did not need to remove the Import flow from the AD Agent? It's working anyway?
