sharepoint 2010 Unidentified Machines issue

Is there any other way to get rid of the unused servers in the Unidentified Machines view, short of uninstalling the SCOM agent? I removed them from SharePointMP.Config file, and from the Secure option in accounts in Adminstration space. The servers are still in Unidentified Machines view.

I've followed the GUIDE to no avail

Hi,

In the MP guide, we can see the “Issue: The computer appears in the “Unidentified Machines” view in the Operations Manager 2007 console.” in the "Frequently Asked Questions and Known Issues” section. Please check the issue referring to it:
