SCSM 2012 - Knowledge base articles RRS feed

  • Question

  • Where are the knowledge articles stored in the database?

We want to identify all the knowledge article numbers in our SCSM 2012 setup where the status is published and the internal content is null. (Info was entered in the description field mistakenly).   I would have thought the knowledgebase articles were stored in there own database on the SQL server but that does not appear to be the case...  How can I query for this information so we can identify what articles need to be updated?? Where does this data live??

  • This query should work:

    USE ServiceManager
    SELECT * FROM MT_System$Knowledge$Article
    WHERE EndUserContent_F827332B_3236_EC96_8C66_3B6321601E5D IS NULL

  • Thanks, this is a helpful start. Do you know where I can locate more info on the database schema?

Any idea how to find the article status? published, draft, etc? Or what columns map to Comments, External Content, Internal Content? Is there a way to add the Analyst Comments field from the Analyst tab?

    Thanks.
