Single sign-on for second DNS users RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I need help in simple steps for the question bellow:

I have a sharepoint 2010 farm at Window Azure, which includes one DNS server (call it  A ) , one SQL server and one Application server. I can access the users of server A from sharepoint and can assign site admin etc. Now another remote DNS server (call it B) users want to access the site with single sign-on i.e. The B server users when login into their systems then they can access the site without reentering credentials. I came to know that ADFS 2.0 can be used for single sign-on but i don't know where i have to install it i.e. on server A or Server B and What configuration steps in ADFS will be required base on my above stated scenario and what configuration will be required at Sharepoint site. I have development exp but no admin exp so i will request to suggest help in steps form.

Remember that There will be different sharepoint web application for B Server users and different web app for A server Users.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards

  • Hello,

You should ask on the SharePoint forums.

Alternatively, ask in the Windows Azure forums.

  • Hello,

The TechNet Sandbox forum is designed for users to try out the new forums functionality. Please be respectful of others, and do not expect replies to questions asked here.

As it's off-topic here, I am moving the question to the Where is the forum for... forum.
