I am trying to replace a SATA HD on my Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop. I have purchased a replacement HD, only to find that the Dell HD has some sort of adapter on the SATA connector. Has anyone seen this type of adapter before? Are they readily available? (I would very much like to have my laptop running by Monday).
