Variances between MSIE 11 in Win 7 x64 vs Win10 x64 RRS feed

  • Desktop PC:  Windows 7 Ultimate, x64, SP1; Prod ID:  004256-333-1366255-85195, system rating:  5.9; AMD FX-8350 4.0 GHz; 32 GB RAM,

    Video Card:  EGVA GeForce GTX 960, 2GB GDDR5, ACX 2.0 - NOT over clocked

    MSIE 11 Version:  11.0.9600.18655, Update Version: 11.0.42 (KB4018271), Product ID:  00150-20000-00003-AA459, "Vanilla" installation - will not initiate running/viewing movies/videos from websites

    Toshiba Laptop:  Satellite C75D-A7226, AMD A4-5000 APU with Radeon HD Graphics  1.5 GHz; 8 GB RAM;

    Windows 10 Home x64; Prod ID:  00326-10000-00000-AA655

    MSIE Version:  11.296.15063.0; Update Version: 11.0.42 (KB4018271), Prod ID:  00150-20000-0003-AA459, "Vanilla" Installation

    DOES initiate running/viewing movies/videos from websites

    my question is this:  what is the difference between these two platforms that would PREVENT MSIE 11 on my win7 box from playing/showing the content that MSIE 11 on my win 10 box DOES play/show.

    And no, when viewing the "Developer's Tools", Console windows for sites that content DOES NOT play on my Win 7 PC, I do not have errors show:  for this website however, "https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/newthread?forum=ie&threadtype=Questions&filter=windows_7&cancelurl=%2Fen-us%2Fie%2Fforum%2Fwindows_7

    I AM getting 1 error:  SCRIPTS:  Access is denied.  File:  dnserrordiagoff.htm, Line: 1, Colum: 1

    In my opinion, IE 11 itself should not be question, you need to notice the IE browsers’ configurations on two machine, maybe the IE 11 on Windows 10 machine has installed latest add-ons, set trusted sites or configured some Advanced setting, but on Windows 7 machine, you don’t configured these.

    Try to use Compatibility View or InPrivate mode to play.
