    I have a problem when trying to work with PASTEL ACCOUNTING v11. Error message - "mscomctl.ocx not registered: a file is missing or invalid". My service provider is of the opinion that is my disaster and i should resolve it myself. PSE ASSIST.

    This file is part of Visual Basic 6. So downlaod and install the VB controls first:

    Download details: Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Common Controls

    Now run the "C:\Windows\System32\regsvr32.exe" command again to register the OCX.
