Installing Application on Multiple Systems RRS feed

  • I have installed Windows XP with SP2 on all the systems and it is all networked as work group. I have to install some essential third party software such as Mozilla Firefox, Winzip, Chrome, Acrobat Reader, etc. and Internet Explore 8 on my systems.  Please guide me to install these software in a faster and effective way.

  • hardcjo- first perform a windows update on the XP machine so that it installs all the patches and updates.

    install a antivirus and update it with latest security definitions.

    Once you upgrade the XP SP2 to latest one you get IE 8. Rest of the softwares can be installed on your choice. On a workgroup, you have to install the software manually. There is no automatic installation or faster way of installation.
