Ran windows update and selected 3 security updates and a VS2010 SP1. I restarted the computer without checking whether the update had installed successfully. Kept getting a message to "not turn off or unplug while configuring stage 5 of 5".
When the message persisted overnight, I did a hard reboot. My VS2010 seemed trashed, so I repeated the update. The update is not working because of an interruption saying "cannot create some folder". I am an admin on this Vista dog and I
need to know how to proceed with this problem. VS2010 was working fine previously.
