Strategy Maps RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm new to Performance Point and have designed a set of KPI's / Dashboards and a Strategy Map.

Is it possible to be able to drill through to scorecards etc from the Strategy Map, so for example if I have a sales box on the Strategy Map, can you then click on it to drill through to the Sales Dashboard ?

Any help / pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards

  • Hello Ian,

Strategy Maps within PerformancePoint Server are used as a report type that you can use to display various performance measures in an organization.  The strategy map uses shapes in an Office Visio 2007 diagram to show the relationships between the objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), and uses color to communicate how each objective or KPI is performing.

Strategy maps are not designed to be used to drill through to other components of a dashboard.  It is designed to show cause-and-effect relationships between individual KPIs and overall objectives.
