  • Question

  • I would like to know what does "MaximumDeviceMemoryConfiguration" and "MaximumNumberOfDevices" exactly mean ?

    If I changed:

    MaximumDeviceMemoryConfiguration = 128

    to

    MaximumDeviceMemoryConfiguration = 256

    would it do anything other than screw up my videocard's drivers?

    This drivers are  AMD + Intel Graphics Drivers :

    sp51966.exe

    \W76A_INF

    C7111298.inf

    [ati2mtag_ManhattanP.GeneralConfigData]
    MaximumDeviceMemoryConfiguration=128
    MaximumNumberOfDevices=4

    [ati2mtag_ManhattanP_PXAI.GeneralConfigData]
    MaximumDeviceMemoryConfiguration=128
    MaximumNumberOfDevices=4

    [ati2mtag_Vancouver.GeneralConfigData]
    MaximumDeviceMemoryConfiguration=128
    MaximumNumberOfDevices=4

    [ati2mtag_Vancouver_PRAI.GeneralConfigData]
    MaximumDeviceMemoryConfiguration=128
    MaximumNumberOfDevices=4

    [ati2mtag_Vancouver_PXAI.GeneralConfigData]
    MaximumDeviceMemoryConfiguration=128
    MaximumNumberOfDevices=4
