The Selection check box for a Slide library disappears when the view is configured as "Group by" RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it true that this isnt solved?

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970544

Solution: To work around this behavior, you can select a thumbnail and then use the "Copy Slide to Presentation" button. This will copy slides to your presentation one by one.

    Thanks

  • Hello Christian,

I went thru this in detail and the behavior you reproted is still reproducible in
    1) SharePoint 2007 (current latest build: 12.0.6562.5000) + Office 2007 SP2

This has already been reported to the SharePoint Product Group however, If you wish to pursue this, please open up a Premier Support Incident with Microsoft to understand and request this behavior to be changed.

The workaround is still the same: Select a thumbnail and then use the "Copy Slide to Presentation" button. This will copy slides to your presentation one by one
