ASP.NET MVC - IIS - dlls are being compiled on each first visit to the view even though they're precompiled already

  • Hi,

I've developed ASP.NET MVC application and hosted it on IIS 8.5 on Windows Server 2012.

Even though I've precompiled the views, I've noticed that they're being compiled anyway and copied over to the C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files\<app_name>

It greatly decreases performance after every app pool recycle. Precompilation was supposed to help with that but it doesn't work as expected.

Should I change some configuration of Windows Server or IIS to make it behave as it's supposed to?
