Hi Kerberos,
Task Scheduler is not cluster aware. If you want to run a cluster-specific task on multiple nodes on a cluster, you need to deploy it on every cluster node (and the task will fail on all but one node). This can be simplified by export/import of tasks.
However several of File Server tasks can be run on a cluster:
-Take a VSS Snapshot (this can be done by selecting the properties of a clustered disk and the 'shadow copies' tab. Other tasks are configured via FSRM)
-Expire stale VSS Snapshots
-Storage Reporting
-Configuring Classification ScheduleAdditionally you can use Task Scheduler to look at cluster events wich can trigger actions. Again, this must be deployed on every node.
Logs: Under Microsoft/Windows
-FailoverClustering/Operational
-FailoverClustering-Manager/Admin
-FailoverClustering-WMIProvider/Admin
The Diagnostics & Performance logs are not supported as they are disabled by default. Thanks,
