Block port 80 thru server firewall. no changes in client pc

Dear

I have 50 windows 7 workstations and 1 windows server 2008 enterprise edition installed server. All computers are under domain control.

Our management decide to give internet access only for outlook 2007. asked to block the internet browsing.

I am trying to block the port 80 and 443 thru windows server 2008 firewall. it 's working only for server , I could not see any changes in clients computers.

Is there any solution pls...???

Hi,

A Simply way, we can use GPO to force all users using a dummy IE proxy address, so they cannot access Internet through IE. If the clients use of other browsers, we need to set GPO to restrict software. However, if you do not have a domain environment, it is recommended to use a firewall/proxy solution, such as TMG/ISA or SQUID. For more detailed information, please check the following thread.
