Backup Error Code 0x81000037 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Why can't someone post a reply that applies to us non-nerds? I have read about sectors & partitions and still have yet to find an answer to my issue. Error 0x81000037, is there an EASY way to fix my backup issue without going back to computer school?

  • Hi,

In addition to what Ed already suggested, please also take a check with the following KB article:

Windows backup or restore errors 0x80070001, 0x81000037, or 0x80070003

This issue (Error code 0x81000037) occurs if the reparse point is a mounted volume that contains compressed files (for example, multimedia files, .zip files, and so on).

To work around the mentioned error code, please follow the steps mentioned in the above article.

    Best regards
