How to create a enterprise custom formula field in Project Server 2013? RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I want to create a enterprise custom formula field for project center view  that show me the project stages and % completed summary of specific department.


    If    [% Complete] = 100   show "completed

    If    [% Complete] = 0  show "Initiated"

    If [% Complete] <=99   show "In Progress"


     I group by "department" all the projects .the individual progress (% complete) show all the project but i want to show the progress of whole department.

    For example :

    Department =  XY

    Projects=    5  Each project % Complete is 50 %

    How to create a custom formula  field that show the whole xy department % complete summary

  • Hi,

    For your first question, I think you have all that you need to create the formula for the project enterprise custom field (note that if is actually iif).

    For the second, unfortunately, the project custom fields cannot be rollup at group level in the project center. The workaround is to go through a custom report.
