Custom Background during OSD RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have integrated MDT 2013 into my SCCM environment and have replaced the standard background images associated with the  ztisetbackground.wsf script. I have 5 phases

    1. Install OS
    2. Configure OS
    3. Install Apps
    4. Security & Encryption
    5. Custom OS Configuration

    The progress screen appears through phase 1 and then disappears during the "Starting Services" phase and never re-appears. Prior to each phase I have added the following task sequences;

    • Use Toolkit Package
    • Stet Status
    • Gather

  • Are you referring to a background image during OSD?

  • Yes, I would like to have the background and status appear throughout the entire process.

  • I'm not at my pc, but if you right-click your Deployment Share, Properties, I believe in the WinPE tab, you can assign a background image there. Browse to your image and set it there.

  • You should look into using the SCCM/MDT OSD Status Branding scripts that  can be found here:

    https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/SCCMMDT-OSD-Status-175c90fe

    It does exactly what you are looking for and more.
