NPS authenticates users who are removed from user group. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am trying to setup Fortinet Wireless AP with Radius (NPS). I created network policies to allow users who are members of particular group.

Initially let say, user A is not member of group. NPS denied the connection. Then I added user A in the group and so NPS allowed the connection. Then user A is removed from the group but now NPS still allowing the users which should not happen.

  • This sounds either like a credential caching problem or an AD group update problem.

Does the problem persist for a long time?

    See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/networking/technologies/nps/nps-manage-certificates
