connecting a sharepoint system to a DB backup

Hi

We lost our SharePoint Server in a recent upgrade but have the DB which was backed-up.

We’ve recreated a default SharePoint system in a new domain BUT have not been able to link the original DB to the new SharePoint, even though we’ve pointed the SharePoint website to this DB .

to restore the farm check the below link:

if you have content db you can restore a site from central admin:
