Hi Joe,
That is not a very helpful message. When we have seen this before it was caused by an incomplete or corrupted downloaded installation file. Are you using factory media or a downloaded one or something else?

Hi,
According to the screenshot, it displays:
problems have been encountered during the configuration
Des problérnes ont été rencontrés lors de la configuration.
Une erreur s'est produite Iors de la configuration de Windows Server Essentials. Réessayez. an error appeared during the configuration of wse. try Résultats again.
Error message which is displayed in French. Using translation tool and I have a brief understanding:
An error occurred while configuring Windows Server Essentials. Please try again.
Please check to see if KB 2914651 - The Post-Deployment Configuration task may fail after you install the Windows Server Essentials Experience role on Windows Server 2012 R2 – is helpful:

If the problem persists, please provide more information:
1. Run “msinfo32” on Essentials Server, provide me the OS name and version.
2. Check to see if any related event has been logged in Event Viewer.
3. Simple environment description, such as deploy this server to new/exisiting domain, another server role has been installed, etc.
