TFS 2010 sharepoit 3.0 SP2 documents can't be accessed via \\tfsserver\sites\collection\project\Shared Documents why RRS feed

  • When we access the path with Windows explorer

    \\tfsserver\sites\collection\project\Shared Documents

    We get: No Network Provider accepted the given network path

    The portal itself works fine

    I checked the Central Administration site of SHarepoint 3.0 and did not find the any related options

    Please advice

  • To solve the problem, we uninstalled the role WebDAV Publishing in Server Manager

  • Hi, this could be network setting problem. Would you check following settings ?:

    1. Check the properties of Local Area Connection, make sure these two options hilighed are both checked. Picture at bottom.
    2. Verify Windows service TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper is running.
    3. Verify File and Printer Sharing is permitted in Firewall. On XP/Windows 2k3, it is in Advanced tab of Firewall dialog, on Windows 7 or Windows 2k8 R2, they're within Inbound Rules

    Please let me know if above suggestion work, I'll try my best to help.

  • All options in 1 and 2 are OK on TFS App tier
    Option 3 firewall is disabled
