  • Question

  • I bought a

    Toshiba Satellite L355-S7902 NOTEBOOK
    date of purchase 2-21-09
    250GB HDD Fujitsu
TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L633P DVD SuperMulti w/LabelFlash

    2007 Microsoft Windows Version 6.0 (Build 6001:Service Pack 1)
Windows Vista Home Premium operating system installed

    Windows Updated to
    2007 Microsoft Windows Version 6.0 (Build 6002:Service Pack 2)

    also with
Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 suite

    Office Depot
    1905 28th Street
    Boulder, CO

    1. I did an install of Vista three days ago with system restore by holding down "0" and turning on the computer. (1.5 hours on wireless at 1MB/sec)
I partitioned the HDD to 130GB and 80GB so that I could install more than one operating system (multiboot). Windows Vista and Windows 98.
The next day I Windows Updated Vista and installed McAfee Total Protection and Microsoft Office. (6.5 hours on wireless at 1MB/sec)
After the Windows Vista installed I attempted to install Windows 3.11 because my Windows 98 is an Upgrade Version. But I became lost and was not able to complete this. How do I format the 80GB partition for FAT32 ???
Did Vista format both partions to NTFS ??? I wouldn't think so. Or can't my older Windows recognize a NTFS partition ???
    Please help me....what to do.
