Do you mean Outlook keeps asking for password? What's your account type? Exchange, POP or IMAP?
How do you add account to Outlook client? We can select "Let me set up my account manually" to test the result.

Besides, for some email providers, we have to first enable POP/IMAP access. Please check related settings on the web mail.
We can also try opening Outlook in safe mode to see if the issue continues. Please exit Outlook, press Win key + R to open the Run command, type outlook.exe /safe and
then press Enter. This helps eliminate whether the problem lies on any third party add-ins.
