  • Bob -

    There were?

The only deals I saw on the preorder sale was Home Premium for $49.99 and Pro for $99.99. Ultimate was offered - but at it's regular price.

  • I also only saw £49.99 for Home E and £99.99 for Pro E.

UK should have a Win7 Ultimate Upgrade program, after all we did purchase Vista Ultimate at full price.

  • The special price preorder sales are history, they were sold out quickly in Europe. The current situation is: You can buy (preorder) a Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade for $219.99 in the U.S., you can buy (preorder) Windows 7 Ultimate-E (full version, as there are no upgrade versions for Europe) for £199.99 in the UK. That doesn't say that there won't be better offers for Vista Ultimate users up to October, 22... And also, that doesn't say that resellers or online shops aren't offering the same for lower prices than Microsoft Store.
