How to uninstall the SCCM client from discovered machines RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a SCCM 2012 deployment, discovered my user machines, created collections and delivered the SCCM client via client push (SCCM console) but by accident (and requirement) some machines dont need to have the client installed.  Is it posible uninstall the client app via SCCM console?

    Thanks in advance.

  • You can download and install right click tools there is a right click options to uninstall the client. Or you could create a small package and script the runs %windir%\ccmsetup\ccmsetup.exe /uninstall and deploy it to systems that need the client uninstalled.

  • Here is a link for the right click tools

You can then remove the client from a collection in a couple of clicks :)
